Known as meditation in motion or breath-centered practice, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is the source and foundation of Vinyasa style or Flow classes. In this class, we will learn to link breath and movement (vinyasa) while exploring the postures of the Primary Series of the Ashtanga sequence. This dynamic hour-long class is suitable for all levels and designed to meet the expectations of both beginner and more seasoned practitioners. Modifications of the postures, as well as deeper expressions will be presented to accommodate everyone’s needs. In addition to verbal cues, hands-on assists will be offered to facilitate a thorough understanding of alignment and proper technique.
